Christmas in Carencro

Christmas in Carencro was fun. Santa hung the presents from the trees in the yard. It was very exciting. The kids had a blast! It was nice to have the whole day and not have to rush.

Gingerbread houses

Chapin's class decorated gingerbread houses today. The room mom made them each a house out of graham crackers. Then we had all this candy to use to decorate. The kids had so much fun.

Emory's new puppy

Aunt Wendy sent Emory a puppy for Christmas. I think he thinks, it is Aunt Wendy's dog. He calls it Puppy Dog Madison. He love his new puppy!

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!

The boys slept over at Mumzie and Dad-dude's last night and woke up to lots of snow. Chapin thought is was fun. From what I hear, Emory liked watching it from inside better. They made a small snowman and put some snow in the freezer for later!

Christmas Parade

We went to the Christmas parade today. We picked up lunch and ate near the swamp. We had to move once because a very friendly squirrel was trying to jump on our table to get a French fries. It was a little scary. Emory taught it was funny, he went to sleep talking about the squirrel. The parade was fun.

Everyone has been telling me lately that Emory and Chapin look alike. I don't see it but in this photo I see it.

Emory loves the Little People Nativity. He likes to let baby Jesus ride on the firetruck. He calls him baby Josie most of the time. When he puts them in the manger he says -- Quiet Baby Josie, your in church. Its soooooo cute!!

House for Lego Guys

Emory spotted my old doll house in the laundry room this weekend. He wanted to play with it so we wiped it down and brought it inside. I pulled out the Little People for him to put in the house. He looked at me like I was crazy then he told me that is the Lego guy's house. The Lego guys have been in there all weekend.

Thanksgiving Feast

Chapin's class had a Thanksgiving feast with the 1st graders. The kindergarten classes were the Indians and they made necklaces to give the 1st graders who were the Pilgrims. The Pilgrims gave the Indians noodle crosses. They had fun!

Chapin told me that he had to write what he was thankful for on a turkey at school last week. So I asked him, what did you write? I expect the usually answer - baseball. He said for Emory.

We did lots of Thanksgiving projects with our friends this weekend. We had fun. Chapin is so excited to bring them to school.

Emory's Birthday

Emory had a great birthday. We went to Mumzie's for breakfast in the morning. The weather was so nice we made it a picnic. We had a little party with the family in the afternoon. Then we all went over to see Chapin's t-ball game. Emory told everyone he had a "Happy to you" party. He is getting big too fast!
